Santa came to see Sullivan on Christmas morning!

She got a new squirrel, some tasty homemade treats, and some new clothes!

She was so excited she practically begged to try on her clothes!

Then mom and dad and I headed over to my brother's to have Christmas morning with them. The boys were really into a new Wii game they got.

Some of the loot and tour of Christmas tree's...I think my sister in law has 7 total.

Notice Tucker's new phiten necklace that all the pro athletes wear. Mom asked if he could feel a difference wearing it and he said yes, he felt more relaxed.

Christmas night we headed over to G-mama and G-daddy's for dinner. This year instead of exchanging gifts we decided we would save the money to go on a family trip to the beach this summer. Since we weren't doing gifts mom came up with a great activity where we told the boys about the real reason for Christmas, shared the gospel, and then everyone got $10 to pick out gifts from Samaritan's Purse or Compassion. You could pool your $10 with someone else to buy something bigger or buy something under your $10. This was us tabulating what all we bought, which included several chickens, vegetable seeds, toys, milk, and education. It was a great activity that I highly recommend for families, we all had a blast picking out the gifts, and it felt great to hear my mom share the gospel with my nephews.

G-daddy, dad and I bought a goat. Note* the feast of hors' behind Gmama, my favorite part of Christmas night!

Wesley opening some gifts.

Each of the boys got some new books from the family.

Note the phiten necklace making him more relaxed.

Church directory pictures were taken this year so everyone got new pictures of my parents and grandparents for Christmas...yay?

Each of the boys also got one bigger gift, Tucker said he already knew what it was as soon as he picked it up.

A brick! This is the claim to fame best family gift you can get. Why, you might be asking. Well, it means your gift is too big and awesome to fit in a box! So instead we wrap a brick as a decoy. Note* gatorade bottles, canned goods, and bags of dried beans have also been used as decoys in the past.

So whenever you get a brick you have to have instructions or a note. Preferably something catchy and rhyming that tells you where to go find your awesomely too big gift.

or maybe just to another clue!

And then you will find your gift!

Wesley has the gift of being an excellent gift receiver. Anytime you give him something he is genuinely appreciative which is such a fine art! He said over and over again how this was the best Christmas, and these were the best bikes, and his was his favorite colors!

One of Tucker's books was how to make all kinds of paper airplanes.

Taking the new plane for a test spin. Note* all the church directory pictures of Gmama and Gdaddy in the background behind Eve. They ordered soooo many they just had them all sitting out over every surface in the living room, it was hilarious, those pictured are not even half of them!

Christmas Dinner! Enough to feed a small army... or us 10 times which is how many we ate it.
