Be Careful What You Write

The bottom line is that I should have known better than to write New Years thoughts/goals/aspirations (NOT resolutions...I am resolved to nothing)on my blog. Only 3 days into the year and I have a feeling I am going to be hearing a lot more mom-conversations like this one.

Mom: How were your errands? Did you find a table?

Me: No, but I found some really cute new lamps for when I do find the tables.

Mom: What was all that you wrote on your blog about not spending money all the time?

Me: Well they were a really good deal.

Mom: You know you can go to the poorhouse on deals like that.

Bless my friend Maggie and the moments that our lives parallel.

Ah hem, and if you saw her more recent post that was definitely NOT me she was having that conversation with. I would never engage in such an embarrassing text-versation, for fear that it may or may not end up on the internet somewhere.
