Merry Christmas From the Dingo

Picking out cards was a little bit harder this year. I needed something just right to go with the bright colors and hot pink in these pictures that my good friend Rachel took for me. Let me just go ahead and tell you, not many cards work with hot pink. I did find a few options though.

The next big debate was what verse to put on my card this year. There were some more traditional Christmas verses that I liked, but I kept wanting to put a verse from Esther. My small group and I just finished our Beth Moore Esther study and it has hands down been my favorite bible study to date. Every week I felt challenged and comforted all at the same time. It was the perfect study to be in when one enters their late twenties. I kept coming back to this verse, and finally decided it may not be Christmasy, but it is where God has me in 2009, so it was the verse I wanted to remember this Christmas by.

"And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14



I ordered the same amount of cards as I did last year, but I ran out this year...apparently I was more popular in 2k9. So if you didn't get one, please know that I still love you (if I know who you are)!
